To provide you with a safe and comfortable environment and DECREASE THE AMOUNT OF CONTACT TO A MINIMUM LEVEL, the following safety protocols will be enforced:
Currently, we are seeing all primary care patients in the office, and continue to provide Telehealth services for minor health concerns.
- Primary care patients with symptoms and concerns
- Telehealth services are available
Pre-Appointment:
- Advanced Appointment: Patients are encouraged to make an appointment online. Appointments can be made online (https://provider.kareo.com/mary-boateng). You can also call 301-679-5770 to make appointments.
Appointment Day:
- In Office Waiting: When you arrive for your appointment, please wait in the waiting area to be called in the exam room.
- Limitations on Companions: Only patients with appointments and one companion (if necessary for your appointment) are allowed in the office. Other companions will need to remain in the car during patient 's appointments.
- Mask Requirements: All patients who presents with cold, flu-like or COVID symptoms are required to wear a mask/face cover as they enter our waiting room. Please only take off your mask/face cover when you are asked to by one of the clinical team members.
- No Gloves: Please remove your gloves and dispose properly before you enter the office.
- Hand Sanitizer: As soon as you enter our office, please use the hand sanitizer provided in the waiting room area to clean your hands.
- Temperature Checks: All patients are checked for fever with our infrared/ touchless thermometer upon entry into the consultation/exam room.
- Office Appointment Protocols: Each appointment is given extra time to permit proper disinfection. If you need to make future appointments, it will be made after you have been seen in the office or can be done by phone, or online.
Our Team:
- Daily health assessment of team members at the beginning of the day.
- Ongoing training on OSHA and infection control protocol and close monitoring for compliance.
Office:
- Continue to perform the highest standard of infection control and sterilization according to CDC and OSHA guidelines.
- On going and thorough disinfection of ALL surfaces in the office.
- Air purifiers with HEPA filters and UV-C sanitizers are placed in the office where you will be seen.
